A Celebration of Brass @ The Gilmore
Celebration of Brass Event growing by Leaps and Bounds
The committee for the Celebration of Brass at the Gilmore is joyfully overwhelmed at the response thus far. I think we can say joyfully overwhelmed both literally and figuratively. The whole event is going to be a great experience and we want as many brass-era enthusiasts to attend as possible. We are getting registrations every day and have run into some issues on the National Tour Segment related to the number of tourists. There are several issues but the mostly related to the inability of the destinations to accommodate large groups. This is related to MI Covid restrictions and the size of the venues themselves. We are working diligently to resolve these issues but have currently capped tour registrations at 55 and are putting people on the wait list for the tour only. In the meantime, I would urge anyone interested to register for the whole event including the wait list for the tour days. The committee will do everything we can within the bounds of safety to accommodate everyone right up to and including the first two days of the event.
Due to popular demand, the Tour is now FULL!!!!! We are taking wait list participants in case there are cancelations of registered participants. We are also still taking registrations for the car show/festival and swap meet.
The way to get on the wait list is to send in your official registration form with all information!
This will be the premier event put on by the Museum of the Horseless Carriage annually at the Gilmore Car Museum. This is an opportunity for brass era and horseless carriage enthusiasts to participate in an event that is not only for all of us, but also open to the public through the Gilmore museum patrons.
Event Registration forms are now Available to the left! All registration fees pay for the cost of the event, as well as support the Museum of the Horseless Carriage.
